This week I posted a solid 1268 points, but it came with its fair share of highs, lows, and a few facepalm moments.

Captains and Standouts

I went Sua Faalogo as captain and Nathan Cleary as VC. Cleary did his job, but Sua just wasn’t the right pick this week. Tanah Boyd delivered as expected, and Jo Chan was the real surprise, absolutely massive. That’s why you play SuperCoach, anyone can steal the show.

Lowlights and Regrets

Not everything clicked. Trey Mooney and Toby Couchman were disappointing, and Cody Walker absolutely bombed, so he’s going straight to the bench. Playing Faemani over Makasini also cost me some points. While I wouldn’t dare trade out Harry Grant, I’d love to see a bigger score from him next week.

Trades and Strategy

With injuries and suspensions piling up, I’m starting to take a serious look at trade options. Here’s what I’m weighing:

Potential trade ins: Ryan Couchman, Jacob Preston, Cameron Munster, or at least a consistent five-eighth. That gap in the side is glaring.

Potential outs: Reed Mahoney, Jonah Pezet, maybe Trey Mooney or Toby Couchman, and Cody Walker to the bench.

My aim is to stay consistent while holding onto trades wherever possible, saving them for injuries, suspensions, and Origin rounds.
